IRL - Real Life in memoriam.

A climax or crescendo never reached. Gathered segments of unfinished sentences constantly interrupted and replaced with alternating rythms and atmosphere's.SKIP AD - and the false choice interactive viewing experience. The church is a place of worship and ritual. A space to marvel in awe at the omnipotence of Our Lord.Similarly the new diety or alter in which we worship sits on our laps with us, or in our pockets on the bus.Drones do cool things that humans can’t. They are always referenced along with Occulus rift and VR headsets as the tech gadgets of the moment re-shaping and representing the future. Drones + Churches = The archaic presence, the past and present in holy matrimony. This Anonymous figure in black is a lost soul. Irrelevant is their life story, their name. They live sometime in the not so far away post future but also trapped in their understanding of the pre-apocalypse past. All they have to go by in understanding that past are the remains of anthropecenic footprints left behind by the ancestors, in an online memory storing bank. An infinite archive of media archeology to sift through. The figure in black has no identity as he/she has no solid point of reference to lead by. He/she just sits obsessively staring into the monitor, the only remains of the past in an abandoned relic. Something tells her/him there is nostalgia in their lingering in the air like an ethereal presence. 2017.
